World Wide Skills Analysis Project

Appropriate Training Ltd has been commissioned by DCELLS Wales (Department for Children, Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills) to undertake analysis of the Skills Needs of the Oil and Gas and Energy Sector across the World.

We are inviting Energy Sector companies to participate in this project.

Those who participate will receive an overview analysis of the skills needs in your company and a copy of the final report containing statistics relating to the Energy Sector Skills Needs and Issues around the world.

In addition the report will contain details of job roles and competencies within the sector, details of recruitment and other issues identified and information on best practices with the sector relocating to skills and recruitment issues.

There are three ways to participate.

  1. Companies can access a log in password to our site where they can complete a self assessment Training Needs Analysis for the company. (All companies participating will be placed in a prize draw.)
  2. A small number of companies will have the opportunity to receive an on site Training Needs Analysis undertaken by our specialist consultants - free of charge. The company will receive a short report on the skills and skills needs of all staff and will also receive free consulting advice on training available.

For companies in the UK and New Member States requiring training on a result of the Analysis, Appropriate Training may be able to support you in accessing a grant for training.
