Appropriate Training Ltd is almost unique in that our ISO 9001(2000) award covers both training and corporate analysis. All training programmes are based on analysed or requested client requirements that are needed to support their organisation.
The company provides:
- Learning Management Systems (LMS) customised to client needs which are based on Microsoft Access and are relatively easy to produce at very reasonable costs. The Learning Management Systems enable training managers to plan training, implement training and record results and consequently individual capability and progress. These systems provide records of attained competencies and success of safe working practices, training and re-training.
The systems link trainees, training materials (including delivery), programme subjects (skills), trainee attendants, training results, assessment and records.

- Training Needs Analysis (TNA) with fully computerised analysis. This can be remotely delivered and administered by either the client or Appropriate Training Ltd.

- Gap Analysis. Appropriate Training Ltd. has performed corporate gap analysis for more than 200 small and medium sized companies in North West England. The gap analysis technique is simple and can be applied remotely by client or Appropriate Training Ltd. staff. The technique defines omissions in organisational resources or skill level which restrict planned targets, growth and expansion. The needs analysis techniques enable appropriate development programmes to be designed and curricula to be established and implemented.
- Curriculum Development. Appropriate Training Ltd. designs and implements training and produces support materials. Hence Appropriate Training Ltd. can modernise or expand the clients training curricula.
- Training Centre Development. Appropriate Training Ltd. can support the design of training centres. The centre design training syllabi, both teaching and support staffing and equipment. Appropriate Training Ltd. has designed training centres for companies and colleges both in the UK and internationally. The centres have been supported by local developers and funds, International Development Agency funds and Governments.
